“Black and white images strip down the subject down to its main focus. It eliminates distractions, draws attention to specifics and creates a certain aura and ambience. It’s almost like it brings the true soul out of a photograph; something that can’t be captured when colour is added. That is not to say that colour photos don’t contain soul, far from it, but black and white images achieve a different level of character.”

My dreams are always different and abstract. Yesterday I dreamt about doing a yoga class with dogs

This is going to sound cheesy, but making someone genuinely smile always makes me happy. Seeing people in pain makes me so incredibly sad

Beauty is confidence. If you feel confident in what you’re wearing and how you express yourself, nothing is more beautiful than that

What do you expect from life?
I wouldn’t say I expect anything from life. I expect to do for life and what I expect to do is make a positive impact on life and whoever I meet in it.
