“I’ve always been inspired by the colors of vintage California photos of the 1960s era. What better way to capture the essence of that time than doing a sailboat photoshoot on film. Morgan Cozzi was the perfect model for this vision because of her timeless beauty and radiant smile. I dressed her in vintage pieces mixed with modern brands with a retro feel such as Solid and Striped and Realisation Par. Morgan amazingly conquered her fear of sailing and we both had a whisimical, sunkissed day filled with sounds of the Beach Boys, seals barking in the marina, and waves crashing along the sides of the boat. It was truly a lovely Californian day. I used inspiration of the classic “Greetings from California” postcards to create our own version to welcome you to take a peek into Morgan on the Marina.”
