”The Julias: We found love in a hopeless place”

Night, Street, Ballet and Tulle. Austrian photographer Pamela Rußmann teamed up with actress Daniela Julia Zacherl for an analog night shooting we show here exclusive on C-Heads. “When I first saw the young Austrian actress Daniela sitting opposite, I immediately had scenes, film stills, in my head, I wanted to implement photographically with her. ”  Shot on a 5 degree cold February night surrounded by anonymous concrete and booming car noise, at an uninviting corner on the edge of the 3rd district of Vienna, the first part of the series “The Juliet” transmits a melancholy and gloomy feeling and is like looking at some private moments of someone when she is not being watched. ”The randomness of Pamela´s recordings get a hidden and very intimate moment from the picture, the moment is not a moment, but something long-lasting. Good portraits have something, a soul strip on the part of the portrayed that requires a basic trust on both sides.” says Daniela. And we can feel this a lot, being absolutely connected and in harmony with yourself and dance like no one is watching.
