“I had never met Nicolle before and had no real communication with the stylist prior to the shoot with regards to what looks she was going to bring. I also have no real experience with studio photography, so I feel like there was a lot of dice being rolled to determine the outcome of this shoot.” tells us photographer Alan Morgan about his shooting with Nicolle Santiago of Model Team at the Broadscope Studios. Nicole impresses us with her strong facial expressions, taking full presence in front of the camera.
“When I first arrived at the studio it was 9am and there was a storm outside. Outside was soo dark that I knew I’d have set up some studio lights and do a full static set in 1 position. However, as I got the lights set up and waited for everyone else to arrive, the storm faded and the clouds began to part and the sun shone the brightest I’d seen since the summer. This was probably the luckiest I’ve ever gotten in terms of weather conditions for a photoshoot. It then allowed us to do the entire set with natural light, and even leave the small studio and shoot within the corridors of the building. To add to my luck, Nicolle turned out to be every bit as good as the weather.” Styling done by Dawn Smith and Makeup by Ashleigh McKeown.
