At the dawn of a Balinese day, the photographic series, “The Beach of Happiness,” was born through the discerning lens of Markus Wachter‘s Leica.
The setting was a beach in Canggu, typically a haven for surfers, which became the canvas for a compelling interplay of brightness and obscurity. The radiant smile of the gorgeous Anushka served as the heart of the series.
With only an hour to spare before Anushka’s departure from Bali, a fleeting but warm connection emerged. This brief window of time resulted in a series of sensual images that, much like the ceaseless ebb and flow of the waves, encapsulate the transient beauty of the moment—a poignant reminder of the ephemeral nature of happiness.
