G is the girl behind Plaaastic! – a blog and clothing line inspired by the childhood and youthful dreams. Beside this she is also photographing, modeling, dancing and traveling around the world.

Describe yourself in three sentences

I am young, hot headed and daring. I am scared of too many things but that doesn’t stop me from anything. I have been up to top and down to bottom, but now i am here.

You are founder of Plaaastic! clothing. Please tell us about the brand and their philosophy. And when did you started the clothing line?

I started Plaaastic! clothing with a dream that young girls like me, who literally live on the internet and wishing to dress like the people they see on Tumblr, get a chance to achieve that dream. I made Plaaastic! clothing to be unique, ethical and affordable. I started the clothing line exactly a year ago, and I have been selling one of a kind designs from local artist, Nepali handmade products, to my own DIY, but all inspired by childhood and 90′s fashion.  I did have a lot of problem when I first started out, because I’m originally from Vietnam, and I only have been living in Singapore since I was 15, so 4 years ago. I didn’t know the Singapore market that well, and I do everything for Plaaastic! from making the website, doing the photoshoot, even packing and mailing…etc. It is truly tiring but rewarding.

Who´s style do you really admire?

Oh man there are so many awesome bloggers out there that I love. Christine from Christeric, Wendy from Panache Halloween. But my style inspiration came from anywhere really. Tumblr, Spice girl, Cartoon Network, Old school gangsters rap music video..

You are a beautiful girl, what does beauty mean to you?

I am not yet beautiful, but thanks! For me, beauty is the ability to inspire

So you are going to Africa in the next few months. How comes?

Actually i am going to have a road trip across the USA first, after that then I will go to Africa. I have been backpacking alone for the past 2 years, and I have completed Asia. My goal is to go to every single country in the world by the time I reach 21 ( or at least I must been to all 5 continent ). I love to travel alone, and make friends on the way. I travel to dance , and to do charity. I have just got back from Nepal earlier this year, where I stayed in an orphanage and teach the children dancing. I also climbed the Annapurna mountain alone.  I love that I can help out and make changes in the world, even a little bit. It makes me feel like my life is worth living.

You model, you design and do photography and you´re blogging. Where do you see yourself in the future?

When I was little, around 6-7 years old, my father asked me once : “what do you want to be when you grow up?” I told him that ” I want to be a muse”. It is still true now and it will be true forever, all I want to do is live to inspired, be the best I can, and be happy with every single second of life.

The most important thing in life?

Love. Always choose love, Always for love, and Always be love
