Amelia Overgaard of Valkyriemodels is a model & passionate activist from Hagley, UK. Due to the current affairs of the climate crisis she recently began studying Environmental Management at Reading University with the hope of creating solutions for the global problems we now face.
‘’I stand against the capitalist system, which is built upon exploitation of both human and nonhuman animals, as-well as Earth. We do not need to pollute our planet any longer, we must become sustainable, more conscious. All those aspects of injustices in the world correlate with one another, they impact each other at different levels.”
She began modelling earlier this year to help broaden her audience and to express herself through images. Photographer Liam Keown & Amelia recently met up for a casual shoot in the Fields surrounding Hagley, managing to catch the last days of the summer. Enjoy!
